DIM-EXPORT was the exclusive organiser of one of the most successful case of Brazil Image promotion abroad : The Brazil Event at Lafayette Gourmet ( Food shop from the Galleries Lafayette ) , handling the export of more than 200 Brazilian products ( Food , Cosmetics , Books Dishes ) from more than 50 different companies to what is a real international showroom. Working in partnership with APEX and the Brazilian Embassy in France with the participation of the State Of Sao Paulo Government as well as various sectorized associations.

DIM-EXPORT conceived this event with aiming to position Brazilian products with added value in this genuine temple of consumption which sets the guidelines of Fashion around the world, giving the Brazilian products and to the "Brazil Brand" a true international Quality seal! With more visitors than the Eiffel Tower itself , the Lafayette store in Paris welcomes more than 100 thousands people per day ( 16 thousands for the Gourmet Store ) among them, French , tourists , gourmets , executives and trendsetters.

During the Event, several promotional stunts were held among which: A Gastronomic festival at the Chêne Vert Restaurant, tasting and promotions of Coffees, Juices, Teas and Cachaças and an Art Expo of Brazilian artists.

Among the companies selected By DIM-EXPORT to take part in this Event were :: Pepsico, Sucos Del Valle, General Mills, United Mills, Vinhos Miolo, Casa Valduga, D´Amazônia Chocolates, Veritas, Café Santa Aldeia, Café Toleno, Café Turmalin, Sra. das Especiarias, Casa Granado, Porcelanas Schmidt, etc.

DIM-EXPORT exclusively brought to Brazil the selection of candidates to exploit the license of the renowned Parisian restaurant "Le Buddha Bar "in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. This restaurant offers a fusion food menu, an association of Asian and European flavours and aromas, putting together oriental and occidental tastes to savour while listening to the famous lounge Music put together by DJ David Visan.

The restaurant is famous for its magnificent decoration and its huge and already mythical Buddha statue displayed in the main lounge. The original of this replica is located at the Guimet Museum in Paris.

Paris, Milan, San Francisco, Detroit, Montreal and San Diego already have their own Buddha Bar!
